RP journal. The AIM given is that of the mun, not the character.
And in case that's not enough information for you: Physically, Eights is a biologically normal twenty-one-year-old woman, five foot nineish, with brown hair, and most often described as looking entirely unremarkable. Oh, and a few slight quirks: she can't age, she can't reproduce, and she can't die. It's the dead thing, see. Gets in the way of those three.
As an extra note, around one of the Nexuses lately she tends to go by Anna. It's not a pseudonym; it's not fake; it just was her name, a very long time ago, when she was alive, and now it is again*. Around the other one, she's been dead for a little over three thousand years, which is enough time to forget her living name but not enough time to remember it again. In both places she is very good at reading body language (lots of practice), so occasionally she'll pick up on something that someone isn't saying out loud, if they're obvious about it or if she's looking hard enough. This applies less and less to people who are less and less human, of course. If a pup has eight legs and tentacles for eyes, or something, she's not going to be able to read them like a book.
As another extra note - are you tired of this yet? - Eights went through a complete character reboot in the summer of 2007. Any interactions with her before that were with a different Eights, and this one won't remember them (and will be mildly creeped out to hear that another version of her has been running around getting into trouble).
Okay, last one, I promise: Eights is from an afterlife where the heaven/hell division (for lack of a better term) is made by an infinite line of cliffs and the system for sorting people between the two is woefully corrupt. Her job - which she loves - is as part of a system of checks and balances known as contracting, where volunteers take on sentences of torture in the stead of those who were wrongfully given them. Beware, therefore, telepaths: Her mind is an interesting but not-very-fun place to be, as nearly everything gives her fond memories of that time when so-and-so jabbed a sharp pointy thing into this-and-that. Naturally, Eights is from the 'hell' half, which is known as Downside. The other half - Upside - is a place she knows almost nothing about.
I lied, THIS is the last one: A note about icons. There are a LOT of different people in Eights' icons. She doesn't look exactly like any one of them, although obviously she's very similar, nor does she change appearances depending which one I'm using. Rest assured she is no kind of shapeshifter, nor is she a clone of Eliza Dushku (for one thing, she's considerably taller).
